Asian Sesame Roasted Broccoli

- Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
- Step 2
Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 3
Make sure the broccoli florets are roughly 1 inch wide, and place them in a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle with the tamari, sesame oil, brown sugar, and crushed red pepper (if using). Toss until the florets are evenly coated.
- Step 4
Arrange the broccoli florets in an even layer on the baking sheet.
- Step 5
Roast on middle rack of oven, stirring halfway through the cook time, until broccoli is crisp-tender and slightly charred, 22-25 minutes.
- Step 6
Check to see that broccoli is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
- Step 7
Sprinkle the florets with sesame seeds, and serve immediately.
