Baked Sweet Potato Fries with Green Goddess Dip
Sweet Potato Fries
Green Goddess Dip
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 450° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2
Peel the sweet potatoes and cut off the ends. Cut in half lengthwise, and if very long, in half crosswise. Cut into 1/4" strips. Add to a large mixing bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss until evenly coated.
3
Arrange the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet and don't overcrowd. Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the fries so they can cook evenly on all sides. Bake for 10 to 15 more minutes, or until crispy. The edges should start to brown, but be careful not to let them burn.
4
While fries are baking, add all of the ingredients for the dip to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. Add more salt, pepper, or lemon to taste if desired.
5
Serve the sweet potato fries warm with the dip and enjoy!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Uniform Cutting for Even Crisping ✂️Cut sweet potatoes into evenly-sized fries (approximately ¼-inch thick) to ensure consistent baking time and achieve uniform crispiness throughout the batch.
- Dry Thoroughly Before Baking 💧Pat cut sweet potato fries completely dry with paper towels after soaking, then toss with olive oil to maximize surface contact for optimal caramelization and crispness.
- Maximize Dip Flavor with Fresh Herbs Last 🌿Reserve half your fresh parsley and chives to stir into the dip just before serving, preserving their vibrant color and bright flavors that oxidize over time.
- Balance Sea Veggie Saltiness 🌊Taste the green goddess dip before adding salt, as the Navitas superfood blend and capers are naturally salty—adjust seasoning gradually to avoid over-salting.
- High-Heat Baking on Prepped Pans 🔥Preheat your baking sheet at 425°F and arrange fries in a single layer without overcrowding; this prevents steaming and promotes crispy, golden exteriors.
