Tips & Tricks (5)
- Slice Bananas at the Right Thickness 🍌Cut banana slices to about ¼-inch thickness for optimal texture—thin enough to freeze quickly and evenly, but thick enough to maintain structural integrity when layered.
- Temper Chocolate and Peanut Butter Together 🍫Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil at 50% power in 30-second intervals to prevent seizing, then stir in peanut butter while warm for a smooth, glossy coating that sets beautifully.
- Flash Freeze Between Layers ❄️Place the baking sheet in the freezer for 15-20 minutes between each layer application to prevent the lower layers from becoming too soft and ensuring clean, distinct layers.
- Use Parchment Paper for Easy Release 📄Line your baking sheet with parchment paper before assembling—this prevents sticking and makes it effortless to lift and break the finished bark into beautiful, even pieces.
- Store in an Airtight Container 🏺Keep finished bark in a sealed container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks to prevent freezer burn and preserve the fresh banana flavor and crisp chocolate texture.
