Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chill Your Frosting for Perfect Peaks 🧊Refrigerate your frosting for 15-20 minutes before piping to achieve sharp, defined peaks that showcase your pearl sugar decorations beautifully.
- Layer Your Sugars for Dimension 🏖️Apply sanding sugar first as a base layer, then strategically place pearl sugar on top while frosting is still wet to create authentic beach texture and prevent shifting.
- Use an Ice Cream Scoop for Even Batter 🍦Portion cake mix batter into liners using a standard ice cream scoop to ensure uniform cupcake sizes that bake evenly and look professionally consistent.
- Decorate Within the Golden Window ⏰Apply decorations while frosting is still slightly warm (within 5 minutes of piping) so sugars adhere permanently rather than sliding off once frosting sets.
- Invest in Quality Cupcake Liners 📋Use sturdy, decorative beach-themed or solid-colored liners that complement your design and prevent grease seepage, elevating the overall bakery-quality appearance.
