Tips & Tricks (5)
- Temper White Chocolate Properly ♨️Melt white chocolate chips in short 15-20 second microwave bursts, stirring between each interval, to prevent seizing and achieve a smooth, glossy coating for dipping.
- Crush Candy Canes at the Right Time 🍭Crush candy canes into small, consistent pieces just before decorating to prevent them from absorbing moisture and clumping together.
- Layer Food Coloring Strategically 🎨Mix red and green food coloring separately into white chocolate before dipping to create vibrant, distinct colors rather than muddying them together.
- Apply Sprinkles Before Chocolate Sets 💚Add sprinkles and decorations immediately after dipping while the white chocolate coating is still wet to ensure they stick securely and don't slide off.
- Chill on Parchment Paper 🧊Place decorated Oreos on parchment paper in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to set the coating completely and prevent sticking before storage or serving.
