This basil mayo is everything! We love a good condiment or sauce, and this one is way better than “good.” It’s savory, herby, fresh, a little tangy, and a stellar partner for fresh summer tomato sandwiches, turkey burgers, or grilled cheese. There’s nothing wrong with ketchup, but if you’re looking to do something different with your burgers this summer, slather some of this stuff on them instead.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Herb Freshness Technique 🌿Bruise the basil leaves gently by rolling them between your hands before chopping to release maximum essential oils and flavor intensity.
- Mayo Emulsion Secret 🥣Always use room temperature mayonnaise as a base to ensure smooth, even incorporation of herbs and lemon juice without clumping.
- Lemon Zest Boost 🍋For an extra flavor punch, add some fresh lemon zest along with the juice to enhance the citrusy brightness of the mayo.
- Black Pepper Pro Tip 🖤Use freshly cracked black pepper and grind it just before mixing to preserve the most robust, aromatic pepper flavor.
- Storage Wisdom 🧊Store the basil mayo in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within 3-4 days for optimal freshness and flavor.
