Easy Philly Cheesesteak
There is no need to drive to Philadelphia when you can make Easy Philly Cheesesteak from the comfort of your own home with simple ingredients. Have a delicious sandwich anytime. These Easy Philly Cheesesteaks are so tender that the meat will melt right in your mouth. If you’ve ever had a south philly cheesesteak then you know what all the hype is about and this homemade version comes pretty close to the real thing.

- Step 1
First thinly sliced meat, unless you bought it pre-sliced. Then with salt, garlic powder and black pepper.
- Step 2
In a small bowl add pressed or minced garlic to butter and mix until incorporated.
- Step 3
Next, add the garlic butter to hot skillet and sauté onions and peppers.
- Step 4
Once the onions are translucent and the peppers have softened remove from skillet.
- Step 5
Add a drizzle of oil to the skillet then add the thinly sliced meat and cook until the meat has fully browned.
- Step 6
Then add back the onion and peppers, mix with the meat until evenly combined.
- Step 7
Section the meat mixture into 4 even portions.
- Step 8
Place 2 slices of provolone cheese onto each section. Cover your skillet with a lid for 1-2 minutes or until the cheese is melty.
- Step 9
Add the meat and cheese to your buns or sub rolls. Add mayo or other desired toppings of choice.
