Tips & Tricks (5)
- Sweet Potato Slice Precision 🔪Cut sweet potato fries uniformly (1/4-inch thick) to ensure even baking and consistent caramelization across all pieces.
- Moisture Removal Technique 🧻Pat sweet potato slices completely dry with paper towels before seasoning to maximize crispiness and prevent steaming in the oven.
- Seasoning Layer Strategy 🌶️Mix dry spices thoroughly before sprinkling to create a more even, balanced flavor distribution across the sweet potato fries.
- Baking Sheet Optimization 🥔Use a dark, rimmed baking sheet and arrange fries with minimal overlap to promote better browning and prevent soggy results.
- Crispy Edge Technique 🔥Rotate the baking sheet halfway through cooking and use the top rack to encourage extra caramelization and crispy edges.
