Instructions
1
Line a medium sized baking sheet with parchment paper. Take the Hawaiian rolls and slice them horizontally so that you have top and bottom halves. Place the entire bottom half on the baking sheet and set the top half to the side
2
Make square sausage patties from the sausage roll that are an inch thick and the size of one of the Hawaiian rolls. Cook on medium to high heat until brown and completely cooked through on both sides. Place the cooked sausage patties on the bottom half of the Hawaiian rolls, in each square
3
Crack the 6 eggs into a bowl and stir. Drain some of the grease from the skillet and then add the eggs in and scramble them. During this time microwave the bacon according to the package directions. Scoop the eggs up and place them on top of the sausage. Lay the cooked bacon on top of the eggs and place the top half of the buns on top.
4
In a small bowl add the milk, 3 egg yolks, heavy cream and cinnamon. Stir and then brush on top of the buns. Place in the oven under the broiler for 3-5 minutes, just until the tops of the buns get a golden brown color
5
Slice the sliders out and drizzle with maple syrup! Serve and enjoy

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Custard Richness Balance 🥚Use a 2:1 ratio of whole eggs to egg yolks in your custard mixture to achieve creamy coating without overwhelming richness that can make the sliders soggy.
- Pre-Cook Meat for Speed ⏱️Cook your sausage rolls and bacon until 75% done before assembly, then finish them during the final minutes of slider cooking to ensure everything reaches temperature simultaneously in just 25 minutes.
- Hawaiian Roll Soaking Control 🍞Dip each roll half briefly (1-2 seconds per side) in the custard mixture rather than soaking to prevent over-saturation, which keeps them structurally sound for slider assembly and eating.
- Cinnamon Sugar Caramelization 🍂Mix cinnamon with a pinch of brown sugar and sprinkle on the custard-coated rolls just before cooking; this creates a caramelized crust that contrasts beautifully with the savory meat filling.
- Make-Ahead Custard Prep 🧊Prepare your custard mixture the night before and refrigerate it; cold custard coating adheres better to the bread and allows you to assemble and cook sliders in under 10 minutes for true meal-prep efficiency.
