Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 400℉. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the prepared pan.
2
Stir together the butter, brown sugar and salt in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring mixture to a boil and whisk constantly while boiling for 30 seconds. Pour the mixture over the graham crackers and spread into an even layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 7-9 minutes or until bubbling for a few minutes.
3
Remove from the oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top. Let sit for 5 minutes before using a spatula to spread the chocolate into an even layer. Let the toffee bark cool fully and harden before breaking into pieces. Enjoy!

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Monitor Toffee Temperature Precisely 🌡️Use a candy thermometer and cook the butter-sugar mixture to exactly 300-310°F (hard crack stage) for ideal toffee texture; this prevents it from being either too soft or burnt.
- Line Your Pan Strategically 📋Use parchment paper on both the baking sheet and overlapping the sides for easy removal and to prevent the hot toffee from adhering to edges during cooling.
- Temper Chocolate for Glossy Finish ✨Melt chocolate over a double boiler rather than direct heat, then spread it while still warm for a smooth, professional-looking coating that sets with a satisfying snap.
- Layer Graham Crackers Efficiently 🍪Arrange graham crackers in a single, tightly-fitted layer on the toffee before it fully sets; this anchors them during chocolate application and ensures even distribution throughout each bite.
- Chill in Strategic Stages ❄️Refrigerate for 15-20 minutes after toffee sets to firm the base, then add chocolate and return for at least 30 minutes before breaking into pieces for clean edges.
