Instructions
1
Combine peanut butter, protein powder, maple syrup, and salt. Mix well until a thick dough forms, using your hands if needed.
2
Use your hands to flatten dough into a large rectangle. Use a Christmas tree shaped cookie cutter to shape into about five Christmas trees. If you don't have a cookie cutter, then do your best to shape them with your hands. Put in the freezer for about 20 minutes to firm up.
3
Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil. Coat the peanut butter trees in melted chocolate, letting any excess chocolate drip off. Place onto a wire rack or parchment lined tray. Optionally top with Christmas sprinkles- I used sprinkles that resemble Christmas tree ornaments.
4
Put in the freezer for another 15-20 minutes or until chocolate has hardened. Enjoy! Best stored in the fridge for up to 1 week.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chill Between Layers ❄️Freeze the peanut butter mixture for at least 2 hours before dipping in chocolate to prevent melting and ensure clean, defined edges on your trees.
- Temper Your Chocolate 🍫Melt chocolate chips slowly over a double boiler or in short 20-second microwave bursts to prevent seizing and achieve a smooth, glossy coating that hardens beautifully.
- Protein Powder Integration 💪Sift your vanilla protein powder with the other dry ingredients before mixing to eliminate lumps and ensure even distribution throughout the peanut butter base.
- Coconut Oil Temperature Balance 🥥Use coconut oil at room temperature when making the peanut butter mixture, but add it slightly warmed to the melted chocolate for better fluidity and easier dipping.
- Create Tree Texture 🌲Add sprinkles immediately after chocolate coating while still wet, or pipe small chocolate drizzles on cooled trees to mimic the signature ridged texture of authentic Reese's pieces.
