Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Dry for Maximum Crispness 🧊Pat cauliflower florets completely dry with paper towels before tossing with oil to remove surface moisture, ensuring golden, crispy edges instead of steaming.
- Toast Parmesan Separately for Depth 🧀Reserve half your Parmesan to sprinkle on halfway through roasting and again at the end, creating layers of nutty flavor and preventing it from burning.
- Generous Spacing Prevents Crowding 📏Arrange florets in a single layer with space between each piece on your baking sheet; crowding causes steaming rather than caramelization and uneven browning.
- Roast at High Temperature for Caramelization 🔥Use 425-450°F to achieve deep golden-brown edges with a tender interior in 20-25 minutes; lower temperatures won't develop the desired nutty, caramelized crust.
- Finish with Quality Extra-Virgin Olive Oil 🫒Drizzle your best extra-virgin olive oil after roasting rather than before to preserve its complex flavors and add a luxurious finish that complements the Parmesan.
