Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 350F and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking oil. Wash and cut each peach into 8 slices. Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon together in a small bowl. Set both aside.
2
Separate the crescent roll dough into 8 triangles. Place 2 peach slices on each of the dough's wide end. Sprinkle with the cinnamon sugar and roll up, starting from the wide side. Place in the prepared baking dish and repeat.
3
In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, water, brown sugar, and vanilla. Drizzle the mixture over the dumplings. Optionally sprinkle additional cinnamon sugar and chopped pecans over the top.
4
Bake for about 30 minutes, or until the crescent roll dumplings are golden brown and cooked through. Once cooked, remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Prep Peaches Strategically 🍑Peel peaches just before assembly by briefly blanching in boiling water for 30 seconds, then ice bath—this prevents browning and makes skin removal effortless while keeping flesh firm for wrapping.
- Seal Crescent Rolls Properly 🔒Pinch the perforated seams of crescent roll triangles together before wrapping around peaches to prevent filling leakage and ensure the dough stays intact during baking.
- Brown Sugar Infusion 🤎Mix brown sugar with melted vegan butter into a paste and brush directly onto wrapped dumplings before baking—this creates a caramelized crust that's far superior to sprinkling dry sugar on top.
- Cinnamon Timing Trick ✨Add cinnamon sugar topping only in the final 5 minutes of baking to prevent burning; alternatively, dust immediately after removal from oven while crescent rolls are still moist for better adhesion.
- Baking Sheet Technique 🍽️Line your baking sheet with parchment paper and space dumplings 2 inches apart—this allows even air circulation for golden-brown results on all sides and prevents sticking for easy cleanup.
