Tips & Tricks (5)
- Temper Your Chocolate Properly 🍫Melt dark chocolate chips with coconut oil at low heat (around 115°F) and stir constantly to achieve a glossy finish and satisfying snap when the bark sets.
- Toast Sesame Seeds for Maximum Flavor 🌾Lightly toast sesame seeds in a dry pan for 2-3 minutes before sprinkling to intensify their nutty aroma and deepen their flavor profile in the finished bark.
- Slice Bananas at the Last Moment 🍌Cut bananas immediately before layering to prevent oxidation and browning, ensuring bright appearance and optimal texture on your final bark.
- Create Texture Contrast with Strategic Layering 🎨Drizzle tahini directly onto warm chocolate before toppings to create pockets of creaminess, then add granola and sesame while chocolate is still tacky for better adhesion.
- Use Parchment Paper and Chill Strategically ❄️Line your pan with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or freeze for 15 minutes) to set the bark completely, then break into rustic pieces for the most satisfying bite.
