Tips & Tricks (5)
- Bacon Weave Technique 🥓Create a tight bacon weave around the pork loin to ensure even flavor distribution and maximum bacon coverage without gaps.
- Sugar Caramelization Trick 🍯Sprinkle light brown sugar in layers between bacon strips to create a beautiful caramelized exterior that's both sweet and crispy.
- Moisture Preservation Hack 💧Add a small amount of chicken broth or apple juice to the bottom of the slow cooker to prevent the pork from drying out during long cooking.
- Seasoning Depth Strategy 🌶️Mix Cajun seasoning, onion powder, and garlic salt together before rubbing to create a more complex and evenly distributed flavor profile.
- Crispy Bacon Finish 🔥For extra-crispy bacon, briefly broil the pork loin for 2-3 minutes after slow cooking to achieve a perfect golden-brown exterior.
