Tips & Tricks (5)
- Chill Your Filling 🧊Refrigerate the cream cheese and cinnamon-sugar mixture for at least 30 minutes before stuffing to prevent it from melting into the dough and ensure pockets of gooey filling in every bite.
- Seal the Edges Firmly ✋Pinch and press the biscuit dough edges together with extra care around the filling to prevent leakage during baking, keeping that creamy center intact.
- Brown Sugar vs. White Sugar 🍂Use brown sugar for your filling instead of white sugar—it adds moisture, depth, and a caramel-like richness that perfectly complements the cream cheese and vanilla.
- Don't Overbake for Gooeyness ⏱️Bake until just golden on the edges but still slightly underbaked in the center (about 1-2 minutes less than recommended), so the filling stays warm and gooey rather than set.
- Butter Bath for Extra Flavor 🧈Brush warm baked biscuits immediately with melted butter mixed with extra cinnamon and vanilla extract for an enhanced flavor layer and glossy, irresistible finish.
