Tips & Tricks (5)
- Cheese Sauce Smoothness 🧀Grate your own cheese and bring it to room temperature before adding to the sauce to prevent clumping and ensure a silky-smooth texture.
- Buffalo Sauce Balance 🌶️Control the heat by gradually adding buffalo sauce and tasting, allowing you to customize the spice level without overwhelming the dish.
- Pasta Water Magic 💦Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining - its starchy consistency helps bind the sauce and creates a more luxurious mac and cheese.
- Crispy Cheese Topping Technique 🔥For the perfect broiled cheese crust, place the mac and cheese under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, rotating frequently to prevent burning.
- Chicken Preparation Pro Tip 🍗Pat chicken dry before seasoning to ensure maximum buffalo sauce adherence and achieve a more flavorful, crispy exterior.
