Tips & Tricks (5)

  • Pasta Water Magic 💧
Always reserve 1 cup of starchy pasta water before draining - it's the secret to creating a silky, emulsified sauce that perfectly coats your pasta.
  • Burrata Placement Perfection 🧀
Add fresh burrata as the final topping just before serving, allowing the residual heat to gently warm the cheese without completely melting its creamy center.
  • Sausage Browning Technique 🥩
Break down the ground sausage into small, even pieces and allow it to develop a deep golden-brown crust before stirring, which concentrates flavor and prevents steaming.
  • Cheese Blending Strategy 🧈
Grate different cheeses separately and blend them off-heat to prevent separation, creating a smoother, more integrated sauce with complex flavor layers.
  • Herb Layering Technique 🌿
Use both dried and fresh basil - add dried herbs during cooking for depth, then sprinkle fresh basil leaves just before serving for bright, aromatic finish.
