Easy Parmesan Chicken Casserole
Instructions
1
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.
2
Place the chicken in a large mixing bowl and season with the black pepper and garlic powder. Add the mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, and Parmesan cheese. Mix with a rubber spatula until thoroughly combined.
3
Transfer the chicken mixture to the prepared baking dish and smooth it into an even layer. Sprinkle the Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
4
Bake the casserole on middle rack of oven until the cheese is lightly browned and the dish bubbles at the edges, 20-25 minutes.
5
Check to see that casserole is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
6
Allow casserole to rest for 10 minutes before serving. Top with parsley.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Balance Your Dairy Ratio 🥛Mix Greek yogurt and mayonnaise in equal parts to achieve the perfect creamy texture without the casserole becoming too heavy or tangy; adjust based on your cream preference.
- Toast Your Parmesan First 🧀Reserve half your shredded Parmesan to sprinkle on top before baking at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, creating a golden, crispy crust while the interior stays creamy.
- Maximize Herb Flavor 🌿Finely chop fresh parsley and divide it—mix half into the sauce base and sprinkle the rest on top after baking to preserve bright, fresh flavor that doesn't cook away.
- Prevent Dry Chicken 🍗If using freshly cooked chicken, slightly undercook it before mixing into the casserole, as it will cook further in the oven and stay moist rather than becoming rubbery.
- Garlic Powder Timing ⏱️Add garlic powder to the yogurt-mayo mixture rather than sprinkling it dry over chicken, allowing it to bloom and distribute evenly throughout the creamy sauce for consistent flavor.
