Tips & Tricks (5)
- Pat Dry for Better Browning 🏜️Remove moisture from the beef surface with paper towels before seasoning to achieve a deeper, caramelized crust that locks in juices.
- Room Temperature Rest Before Cooking 🌡️Let the roast sit at room temperature for 45 minutes before cooking to ensure even heat distribution and prevent a cold center.
- Reverse Sear Technique for Precision 🔥Start in a low oven (275°F) until the internal temperature reaches 120°F, then finish with a 2-minute high-heat sear for crust without overcooking.
- Rest and Carryover Cooking ⏰Remove the roast 5°F below your target temperature since it will continue cooking during a 10-minute rest, ensuring perfectly pink, juicy results.
- Garlic Powder Blooming Hack 🧄Mix garlic powder with olive oil 15 minutes before cooking to activate and deepen its flavor, creating a more aromatic and savory crust.
