Yummly
June 7, 2025
You'll get double the hazelnuts in every bite of these moist brownies, thanks to the Nutella and crunchy roasted hazelnuts in the batter. (Imagine a classic Italian Baci chocolate kiss, only better.) All you need are basic cooking tools, so cooking and cleanup are easy. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Angela Brassinga.

Instructions
1
|
Preheat the oven to 325°F.
2
|
Butter an 8-inch square pan and dust with flour, tapping out any excess. Set pan aside.
3
|
Combine the flour and salt in a small bowl. Coarsely chop the hazelnuts.
4
|
Lightly beat the eggs with a fork in a large bowl until yolks and whites are combined.
5
|
Add the Nutella, brown sugar, and vanilla and stir vigorously with a rubber spatula until well combined.
6
|
Add the melted butter and mix until well combined. Add the flour mixture and stir until blended. Fold in the hazelnuts.
7
|
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth into an even layer.
8
|
Bake the brownies on middle rack of oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached, about 45 minutes.
9
|
Check to see that brownies are done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
10
|
Set brownies on a cooling rack and cool completely in the pan, about 2 hours.
11
|
Cut the brownies into 16 squares. Serve immediately.
