Instructions
1

Preheat the oven to 400°F.
2
|
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Sprinkle the tops of the salmon with the salt and black pepper.
6
|
Slice the lemon into 1/4-inch thick rounds. Arrange 2-3 lemon slices over the top of each salmon fillet.

|
Check to see that salmon is done. Remove from oven or add time as needed.
9
|
Squeeze fresh lemon juice over salmon if desired. Serve immediately. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to two days.

Tips & Tricks (5)
- Skin-Side Secret 🐟Always place salmon skin-side down first to create a crispy exterior and protect the delicate flesh from direct heat.
- Lemon Zest Magic 🍋Grate fresh lemon zest over the salmon just before serving to intensify the citrus flavor and add bright aromatics.
- Butter Basting Technique 🧈Melt butter and continuously spoon it over the salmon during baking to keep the fish moist and add rich, luxurious flavor.
- Perfect Doneness Test 🥢Check salmon doneness by gently pressing the thickest part - it should flake easily and look slightly translucent in the center.
- Quick Marinating Hack 🕒While the recipe is quick, let salmon sit with salt, pepper, and lemon for 10 minutes before cooking to enhance flavor penetration.
